Grasslands cover one quarter of all land and support the vast gatherings of wildlife, but to survive here animals must endure the most hostile seasonal changes on the planet. From Asia's bizarre-looking Saiga antelope to the giant anteaters of Brazil, grassland animals have adapted in extraordinary ways to cope with these extremes. In the flooded Okavango, lions take on formidable buffalo in epic battles, on the savannah bee-eaters take advantage of elephants to help catch insects and, on the freezing northern tundra, caribou embark on great migrations shadowed by hungry Arctic wolves.

With optional Hebrew subtitles. This episode explores how the spread of the Enlightenment brought ghetto walls around Europe crashing down and allowed Jews to join the wider fabric of modern life in Europe in unprecedented ways. This Jewish renaissance saw Giacomo Meyerbeer and Felix Mendelssohn to establish the enduring tradition for Jewish musical prodigies. However the integration of Jewish talent into the mainstream of European culture and commerce eventually stirred up ancient prejudice, expressed in the new fashion of Romantic nationalism and the pseudo-science of anti-semitism.

As Covid-19 puts Britain on lockdown, Jeremy Clarkson suddenly finds that his biggest worries aren’t all related to the upcoming lambing season. 'If you're involved in food production, you are key worker. We're gonna save the nation!... I've smoked a million cigarettes and I've had pneumonia. If I get it , there's not a lot of hope... Am I panic buying? I bought five tins of sardines the other day'.

Episode 3 continues to show the obstacles faced with charging electric bikes in remote places, but Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman start to learn and evolve their process. The risk of cold temperatures is high but they bravely do it anyway. The duo is having a hard time of it out there but, thankfully, the scenery is absolutely stunning. Heading through Patagonia, Ewan and Charley stay at an eco-lodge in one of the world’s remotest areas with people that live off the grid.

After months of hard work Clarkson's farm arrives at a make or break moment; harvest time. 'It's always stunning on the farm, actually. Whatever the day, there's always something that's absolutely beautiful. The thing is, the show's now over, which is sad. But thank you very much for being so patient with me.'
