The Complete Series

Without doubt, the Eagles are one of the all-time biggest acts in popular music since the dawn of the rock'n'roll era. The band's roots go back to their role as defining artists in the phenomenally popular Southern California rock scene of the '70s, a decade in which they delivered four consecutive #1 albums.
Their momentous 2004 farewell tour filled stadiums around the world, and this series captures one of the most stellar events from that now-historic global sweep. It was filmed in Melbourne, Australia at the Rod Laver Arena on November 14, 15 and 17, 2004.

Eagles The Farewell 1 Tour

The most innovative area of human motion lies not on Earth, but with the exploration of space. Space is the most hostile environment we know. Navigating it involves crossing unprecedented distances. It's the greatest engineering challenge humanity has ever undertaken.
Meet the pioneers who've dreamed of reaching other worlds, pushing the boundaries of space exploration, and the private space entrepreneurs jostling to offer the tantalizing prospect of cheap, frequent travel beyond the atmosphere into Earth orbit.

The series Secret History of Comics takes a deeper look into the stories, people and events that have transformed the world of comic books.
In the first episode, we will explore how Jack Kirby and Stan Lee invented Marvel's most beloved characters. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby are the Lennon and McCartney of Marvel Comics, and just like The Beatles, eons from now, people will still be talking about these characters and the people who created them, akin on the same level.

Various eminent scientists explain the current knowledge of Black Holes and try to answer the question, do they really exist? New discoveries are challenging everything we know about black holes -- astronomers are beginning to question if they even exist. The latest science tries to explain how they work & what they look like, despite the fact we've never actually seen one.
The two great theories of Einstein's General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics don't work together to explain Black Holes which is a big problem. Other theoretical constructs such as Gravastars and Planck stars have been postulated but proving their existence is just as difficult as that of Black Holes. So where next?

How the Universe Works Season 6

One of the world's biggest bands return to the scene of their Live Aid triumph a year earlier to play all their greatest hits in front of a packed Wembley Stadium.
Everything is done right and to perfection here. There is a majesty in the filming and editing that is missing in the other performances. Maybe it's the energy of this awesome Wembley crowd. Shot just before sunset, the transition to night time is magic and Freddie commands! He is loved by and connected to the crowd like very few performers. The sound is stellar, Brian is in great form, the harmonies are spot on, it is incredible to realize this wall of great sound is coming mostly from a live trio.

Queen Live at Wembley Stadium

The story of the monumental life and tragic death of legendary Brazilian motor-racing Champion, Ayrton Senna. Spanning the decade from his arrival in Formula One in the mid 80's, the film follows Senna's struggles both on track against his nemesis, French World Champion Alain Prost, and off it, against the politics which infest the sport. Sublime, spiritual yet, on occasion, ruthless - Senna conquers and transcends Formula One to become a global superstar.

Having sold an amazing amount of records, and gone through tumultuous personal problems that would have finished off most bands, Fleetwood Mac have created an enduring legacy for themselves. The band are captured performing live on 23–24 September 2003 at the FleetCenter (now known as the TD Garden) in Boston, Massachusetts during the group's Say You Will Tour, before a specially invited audience of industry insiders and friends.

Fleetwood Mac Live in Boston

In the shady camp grounds of Yosemite valley, climbers carved out a counterculture lifestyle of dumpster-diving and wild parties that clashed with the conservative values of the National Park Service. And up on the walls, generation after generation has pushed the limits of climbing, vying amongst each other for supremacy on Yosemite's cliffs.
'Valley Uprising' is the riveting, unforgettable tale of this bold rock climbing tradition in Yosemite National Park: half a century of struggle against the laws of gravity - and the laws of the land.
