In the final three episodes, the investigation takes a decisive turn when the Frankfurt luggage records and bomb-damaged clothing recovered from the wreckage lead Scottish detectives to Malta. A small clothes shop and the memory of a mysterious customer begin to connect the bomb to a wider international network, while cooperation between Scottish police, the FBI and the CIA becomes increasingly strained. As investigators follow the trail toward Libya, a secret CIA source and similarities with another aircraft bombing appear to offer the breakthrough they have been searching for. More than a decade after Pan Am Flight 103 was destroyed, the case finally reaches the courtroom. Following years of political negotiation, two Libyan suspects stand trial under Scottish law at Camp Zeist in the Netherlands. But the prosecution still depends on fragile witness testimony and painstaking forensic evidence assembled across several countries. As key witnesses are challenged and doubts emerge, the series builds toward a tense question that has haunted the victims’ families since 1988: will the investigation finally deliver justice?
In the final two episodes, Dean Potter’s dream of pushing free solo climbing beyond anything seen before collides with the arrival of Alex Honnold, a younger climber capable of taking the sport into terrifying new territory. As both men circle the impossible challenge of El Capitan, Dean is forced to confront not only a rival, but the fear that his place at the edge of climbing history may be slipping away. What begins as a battle for greatness becomes something far more personal: A struggle with ego, identity, isolation and the dangerous need to keep proving himself when the world is already watching. As Dean’s mental health declines and some of his closest supporters begin to drift away, he takes a risky job in China and seems to move even closer to the edge. But a new relationship gives him a fragile sense of grounding, and his lifelong dream of flight finally comes into focus through the radical world of wingsuit flying. The final chapters become both breathtaking and haunting, following a man who searched for freedom in the air, in the mountains and in the spaces where fear becomes almost spiritual. Intimate, tense and deeply emotional, they reveal the beauty and tragedy of a life lived in pursuit of the impossible.
A joyful and revealing portrait celebrates the life and legacy of Mel Brooks, tracing his journey from the early days of television comedy to global superstardom as one of Hollywood’s boldest satirists. Through rare footage, candid reflections, and stories of friendship and love, the film shows how Brooks used laughter to confront fear, failure, and the absurdities of the human condition, transforming personal experience into timeless comedy. Spanning two episodes that can be enjoyed together as a single, continuous film, the documentary follows Brooks as his career takes flight, shaped by deep creative partnerships, his Jewish heritage, and an unshakable drive to push boundaries. It is a warm, hilarious, and deeply human portrait of an artist who, for nearly a century, has turned humor into resilience, connection, and joy.
It's a natural history epic. It's a compelling detective story. It's a scientific adventure at its best. It took Dr Fred Urquhart almost 40 years to discover the monarch butterflies' secret hideaway and prove the most incredible migration on Earth. Following the year-long annual migration cycle of the butterflies, the award-winning production team filmed hundreds of millions of monarchs in their remote overwintering sanctuaries in Mexico in 2011 and again in 2012 and also along their migratory routes from Canada, across the U.S. and into Mexico. The film immerses you in the astounding migration experience as two generations of the butterflies migrate north and then a Super Generation miraculously finds its way from Canada to a few isolated mountaintops in Mexico.
In the thrilling series finale, the journey culminates high in the Alps as our riders launch into an exhilarating paragliding flight above snow-dusted peaks, confronting the elements with sheer adrenaline. They then trade handlebars for putters on a breathtaking Swiss golf course, where each swing frames mist-shrouded valleys in the distance. A chance detour leads them to a quirky mountain artist’s hidden atelier, where kinetic sculptures seem to capture the spirit of their odyssey. As glaciers gleam and winding roads beckon, they pause to savour the bonds forged and miles conquered before embarking on the extended ride back home.
Take an express journey to the edge of the universe as the filmmakers use computer-generated animation to build on images captures by the Hubble Telescope. The animation and story telling absolutely wonderful. Beginning on planet Earth, viewers are hurtled into the deepest reaches of space. There are no stops on this flight, and along the way the mysteries of the universe come alive as we examine the history and science of distant celestial.
