The Origin of Life

   2024    Science    HD
The film, marking our first own production, embarks on an awe-inspiring journey, shedding light on one of science's most profound questions: How did life emerge from the non-living? With a focus on the intricate mechanisms that may have transformed simple molecules into the first microorganisms, this film explores the concept of a chemical evolution that meticulously selected increasingly complex molecules, eventually leading to the genesis of life. By delving into the pivotal role of RNA, viewers are invited to contemplate the plausibility of life spontaneously arising from the basic elements of the universe.
The documentary meticulously illustrates a potential pathway for the emergence of life, emphasizing the significance of ribozymes—RNA molecules with catalytic abilities—and their role in a prebiotic chemical evolution. The film posits a compelling argument for the natural processes that might have led to the formation of the first complex lipid vesicles, a critical step towards cellular life. By presenting a theory that bridges gaps in our understanding with scientific ingenuity, ‘The Origin of Life’ invites viewers on an intellectual adventure to discover the origins of existence itself.

Athletes

   2022    Nature
All of our pets survived for thousands of years in the wild without any help from us, and this has led them to develop astonishing athletic abilities which we sometimes take for granted. As greyster dogs and endurance champ tortoises.
Dog scootering uses one or more dogs to pull a human riding an unmotorized scooter. Greysters are a naturally-athletic breed that can run at 20 miles per hour for five miles while handling these carriages. No other animal can run at this speed, exerting this power, and expending this energy for so long. So, what's their secret? Greysters' stride length can be a staggering 16 feet and they are super efficient at absorbing and using oxygen. Greyster dogs have nearly twice mitochondria inside their cells than humans.

Our super friends in the animal world possess so many hidden superpowers. In the third episode we meet heat-seeking dogs, GPS-outfitted cats, and a sporty goldfish with squad goals.
When we think we know them inside out, dogs surprise us with something new. what sensory superpower have dogs been hiding all this time? They have a thermal sensor in the tip of his nose. In the wild, a dog could use his thermal nose to spot the heat of a prey animal, allowing him to hunt even if his other senses were impaired. It also explains that uncanny knack for stealing a warm seat.

Alexis went further than most, with a set of communication buttons, each programmed with a pre-recorded word to help humans and animals speak the same language. She has 90 buttons with which to express herself and even seems to combine them into simple sentences. Bunny is paving the way in pet communication.

Aliens of the Microcosmos

   2021    Science
The cosmos, with its billions of galaxies and countless stars, isn't the only one. We share our lives with another universe: The world of the small, of the viruses, of the bacteria. We call this strange hidden kingdom the Microcosmos. We share our world with the microcosmos. Will we coexist in an uneasy peace, or will it destroy us?
In 2020, A tiny virus caused a global pandemic, COVID-19. This pandemic makes people see the world completely differently, because there was an invisible universe, pretty much ignored for the most part.
